1. The traction force of the winch is determined in pounds, which can be converted into tons or kilograms through conversion. It is best to choose a winch with a high poundage, as the weight of the trapped vehicle is often much higher than the average daily vehicle weight. Do not tow objects that exceed the winch's pull.
2. The more turns the winch steel cable is wound on the reel, the smaller the pulling force of the outer ring. A winch with a long reel can reduce the number of winding turns to increase the traction of the outer ring. For the same winch, using a shorter cable will result in greater outer loop traction than a longer cable.
